We offer several Bible Studies for men and women. It’s a great time to form friendships with other adults and to encourage and strengthen each other. No need to sign-up in advance. Just show up and join us!
Our Tuesday morning Bible Study is a mixed group of mostly adults who gather to study through a book of the Bible and is led by Pastor Rob. The meeting, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, includes a short intercessory prayer time, then teaching and discussion with group participation. It is a favorite with church regulars and a great place to get to know other believers in our community.
Pastor Rob leads the Men’s Accountability Group every Tuesday night from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. All men and teen boys are encouraged to come. The men meet to study the Bible, but also to encourage one another to practice daily time in God’s Word, to pray daily for each other, and to give an account of their faithfulness in these disciplines. They are currently studying the book of Revelation. Women whose husbands attend this group love this group because of the positive impact it has on their homes.
The mothers of little ones meet from 8:00 am to 10:30 am on Thursday mornings, right after dropping their older ones off at school. Linda Dore leads this support group which connects believing mothers with other moms who share their Biblically based parenting goals. Pre-schoolers and infants are part of the group. The meetings take place in our nursery room, and focuses on reading the Bible, understanding the overall plan God has for his people, and learning how to implement His plan in a Christ-centered home. This can be a very loud and energetic meeting.
Prayer meeting is Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the primary grade classroom. Everyone is invited to this time of intersession.
